Trix in Istanbul
Trix’ Travels was created with full cooperation of Trix the cat. She has been perfectly safe and lazy during the entire process that will now be posted every other Saturday. This weeks stop: Istanbul.
There is no break to this trip! The crazy blond, who keeps getting crazier, now dragged me to this country where everything smells weird. But the sun and temperature are quite nice. We went to a place where a lot of people were looking around and talking rather softly, and the ceiling was all shiny and showed a lot of pictures. It was actually quite pretty to see. A bit like those strange moving-pictures-in-a-box, but these don’t move. They just stand there, staring into space, frozen in time. I can relate to that, staring into space is nice. I watch specks of dust all the time because they are fascinating to follow. Even better when leaves are falling down, although their patterns are more easily deductable. Aah… leaves and dust…
Ooh wait, we were talking about something else, right? Let’s get back to that. That strange, shiny building. I had the feeling like I wasn’t supposed to be there. People looked disapprovingly at me. This building felt sacred, special, maybe not a place for a cat to walk around and take a nap but I’m a curious creature so I did take a look around. The pretty pictures and I had a nice staring contest, which I lost for the first time in my life. But then again, I’m not stuck to the ceiling so it was an unfair match. Where to next, crazy blond human?
